You’re Not Alone

Let me reassure you: you are absolutely not alone in this chaos. Many small business owners feel the weight of the world on their shoulders. Juggling client demands, deadlines, and that pesky little thing called “work-life balance” can lead to business owner burnout and leave you feeling frazzled – I know I’ve been there!

It’s tough but recognising this overwhelm is the first step to reclaiming your time and sanity.

The Reset: Introducing the 3-Priority Power Hour

Now, here’s the good news: it doesn’t have to stay this way! I’m excited to share a little gem from my Time Management Map, something I like to call the 3-Priority Power Hour. This simple, effective technique can help you cut through the overwhelm and focus on what really matters.

Don’t underestimate yourself.

One hour is enough time to make a huge difference, in your business and in your mindset.

How To: Your 3 Steps to Clarity

Step 1: Identify Your Top 3 Priorities
Grab a cuppa and take a moment to jot down the top three things you absolutely need to tackle today.

These should be tasks that move the needle forward for your business.

Think of them as your golden eggs, focus on these, and everything else can wait!

Step 2: Set a Timer for 60 Minutes
Now that you’ve got your priorities, it’s time to get to work.

Set a timer for one hour, and dive into your first priority.

No distractions, no multitasking, just you and your mission. If a thought pops into your head about something else you “should” be doing, jot it down for later and keep your eyes on the prize!

Step 3: Reflect and Adjust
Once the hour is up, take a breath!

Look at what you accomplished and give yourself a little pat on the back.

Did you get through all three priorities? Fantastic!

If not, that’s okay too. Reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and adjust your priorities for the next day.

Focus on the Right Things

Remember, this isn’t about cramming more into your day; it’s about focusing on the right things. By narrowing your focus and dedicating just one hour to what truly matters, you’ll start to feel a shift. It’s all about progress, not perfection!
